What a day... 5 hours to get from Bromsgrove to the Dome !! Went the scenic route keeping south of the Thames... big Mistake... ended up having to go through Greenwich when the equestrian event was just finishing... GRIDLOCK... still left home early so still got there with an hour to spare.
Came back via Blackwall Tunnel, M11 and M25 2hrs 20mins.
Photos & Video to follow.

Its a small world !
Whats the chances of this ?
Last week I was photographing a house for a local Estate agent (using my masted camera system www.vistamax.co.uk ).. the house was in Alvechurch.
Whislt I was on-site the lady from the next house managed to drive her car into my Landrovers front bumper... writing-off her o/s/r door and quarter panel. She was very upset, had two young boys in the car and was heavily pregnant.. I felt very sorry for her.
Yesterday I picked two ladies up from an address in Bromsgrove to take down to London for the Olympics.... on the drive... yes you've guessed.. was a car with substantial damage to its off side !! Yes I was taking Mother and Pregnant daughter down to London.... needless to say we had plenty to talk about on the journey !!
Ps.. if your concerned I can report that there was zero damage to my bumper !!

Olympic Traffic in London... Really ?
Monday 30th.... Took some Clients down to Central London today. Hotel in High Holborn.
After all the hype about the possible traffic delays I decided to plan well. Devised two alternative routes in-case of trouble.. printed out maps... pre-loaded my GPS with the alternative routes... studied http://www.getaheadofthegames.com/ for all the road closures and restriction etc...probably spent 90mins on it.. best to be prepared !! Took some drinks for my "guests" so they wouldn't de-hydrate when we were stuck in a long queue.
In the event I took only 2hrs 10mins from Bromsgrove to the Hotel... very little traffic.... and... on the return journey sailed past loads of traffic along the "Olympic" traffic lanes virtually unimpeded. The electronic signs were saying "Traffic can use all lanes" but very few people were taking advantage !!!
Tomorrow.... got to pick them back up from the 02 Arena, Dome or whatever it is called these days... fingers crossed the traffic is the same as today !!

Brazilian !!
Got... your interest hey !!
So last Sunday (29th July) I was picking up a family from Heathrow T5... the press were there in force... obviously someone famous was about to emerge into the arrivals hall. Turned out to be "Marta Vieira da Silva" one of the worlds best ladies football players, on her way to the Olympics.
So I got my trusty "HTC One X" mobile phone out and joined the big boys with their TV cameras and microphones etc... and got filming !
